Wear your comfortable shoes and enjoy a day of outdoor shopping for affordable needed items and treasures at the Mountain’s Edge Fall Community Garage Sale. The free event will be Saturday, Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Exploration Peak Park and within the Mountain’s Edge Master Planned Community.

More than 70 Mountain’s Edge homeowners will sell goods ranging from baby and adult clothing to household items to furniture and antiques in the park parking lot, and more than 150 homes will participate throughout the master plan. Maps to these homes will be available at Exploration Peak Park during the event.

Additionally Goodwill of Southern Nevada will have a truck at the park from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to collect gently used items from the public, any unsold items from the garage sale, and donations. The nonprofit organization’s mission is to provide education, employment and training for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment to maximize the quality of life for each individual served.
