Was at the 49ers Superbowl event and was Blown Away by the Profesionalism and Coordination of the staff. After searching around Vegas for a event like this I am Glad we picked Downtown Cinemas. Food was Great the VIP Theater felt like a Man Cave.
Naomi's Island Cafe has the most Incredible food and drinks to match. Quiet and Safe area as well.
We Really Enjoyed the event and will choose them first when another event is going on there.

The movies are awesome! The seats are leather recliners. You can also order food right from your seat.

You can get popcorn and candy delivered right to you without getting up.

The best part is you can order food from the restaurant and drinks! All the cocktails are so delicious! And all this can be brought to your seat while you watch the movie.

There really is no other way to watch a movie!

What a unique gem in downtown Vegas near the Arts District! I never heard of this movie theatre until Vegas girls event booked this place for the Barbie movie premier in July.

Parking is outside on the streets, I didn't see a garage so circled around to find a spot that didn't have a two hour parking sign which ended at 6pm. The area is a little sus though with randoms walking at night so just be aware of your surroundings ladies.

After entering the theatre, you head upstairs where the bar and theater rooms are at. It was a bit confusing where to get popcorn and stuff as there were only two bartenders and no area to order from. I waited on the right side and was able to order at the bar cashier area and get a cocktail. Inside the theater, there are recliner seats and a moveable tray to eat your food. It felt relaxing and casual being at Art Houz.

Btw The Barbie movie was amazing and hilarious! Every night should be girls night :)

Came here for a work holiday party. The bartenders and staff were 5/5 and so nice! The area for entertaining parties was nice and had great accommodations. Food was decent as well. It was also nice to park close to the entrance. Only reason for a lower review was the entire building smelled like sewer which was really off putting.

I love this theater. We went to go see the new marvel here. I always love how you order food and drinks from your chair and someone brings it to you. Food was good . I ordered the wings which were huge! fries, soda and popcorn. Will return

My favorite place to go in downtown Las Vegas.
Theaters are clean. Music is great. The new menu is great. Must be under new management. I recommend visiting this gem.

Looooooove this place.

They have small intimate theaters with options to 2 seats or 4 seats across. All seats have great views of the screen. The seats are faux leather and recline. They also have tables that swing in front of the seats, that also have cup holders. The arm rat folds up between the seats to give a more "homey" feel if you know your seat mate.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person. They also have really good food that can be purchased at the bar or you can scan a QR code and order into the theatre. I tried the shrimp tacos and wasn't impressed. They also came with a nachos and cheese. Pricing was fair for movie theaters but quality surpassed my expectations.

The only downside is parking is either street or a small parking garage (which isn't a straight thru, if there isn't parking, you would have to back out). They also charge 18% gratuity on the food ordered into the theatre which is fair but worth knowing in advance (I am not sure if the bar charges this as well).

This will be my new go-to theatre. I typically hate going to the movies but this place makes it fun.

Caught a late night viewing with my hubby for date night. I'd say this is truly a perfect spot for movie date night if you're looking to stay away from the crowds of the casinos and malls. A huge win is that they have a restaurant located on the same level as the theaters. You can dine in there or they have QR codes at your seats in the theater. I've never experienced the whole dine and movie until last night - was not disappointed!

Not sure how big the other theaters are but our movie was in a cute little theater which had recliners and tray tables attached to each seat. Very intimate setting but felt spacious enough. There were no super close front row seats (who needs to sit that close anyway!? Lol).

I'm actually quite bummed I couldn't order much from their restaurant d/t my wisdom teeth getting yanked out a few days ago but I was able to try their bread pudding. Please do yourself a favor and order it! However you may miss the first half of your movie devouring it lol. Served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle - I'll be back again just for that. Hubby ordered the Black & Bluez burger, served on a cutting board with fries and condiments. A little messy to eat but they provided utensils and plenty of napkins. I wasn't able to try it but he devoured it also. Another side note: they are participating in Restaurant Week if you dine-in.

Not only are they a a theater and restaurant, they have a third floor banquet that can host social events! Perfect for weddings, birthdays etc.

I'm so glad we came across this theater, we will be back for sure. S/O to Daniel for constantly checking up on us during the movie.

If you order from inside of the theater using the Smarttab POS, you are charged: Food, 18% gratuity, 8% sales tax, 4% surcharge and $1 convenience fee. When you submit your order, you are forced to tip an additional 18%, 20%, 25% on the total above that includes the food, tip, sales tax, surcharge and convenience fee. You are forced to tip on your tip and taxes!

I notified the Staff and everyone knew about it. The response was: Do you want a refund? (insert how dare you complain about being forced to tip 36% voice)

I emailed a copy of my receipt to info@thearthauz.com back in June. I spoke with someone and even provided instructions on how to remove the additional mandatory tipping on the POS. I was assured the issue had been resolved at the beginning of July. Per the reviews and my most recent visit, this issue is still happening!

Forcing patrons to tip 36% to have someone that you only see once; bring you cold mushy fries, cold and dried out buns, cardboard pizza and burnt popcorn, is outrageous. And, you never see the waitstaff again. You are on your own for refills.

The Workaround:
[1] Do not eat the food here. It is not good.
[2] If you do want to eat the food, order from the bartender. Staff will deliver to your seat. The POS at the bar does not force tip 36%.

I am really disappointed at the lack of professionalism of the Staff in regards to the forced 2nd tipping. They have known for months. They have received numerous complaints. And, then were dishonest in saying they resolved it when it was not. I replied back to the email about this and did not receive a response.

p.s. Do not come here during the Chamber of Commerce Mixer. You will be treated like 3rd class citizens.

Looks like you can rent out an area to have a party.

The movies are pretty affordable and you can order food to be delivered to your seat. This place takes it to another level with the hot entrees. We had the Gnocchi. It was delcious. The Caprese was equally as good but it was plentiful. I also ordered popcorn and red wine.

Definitely a spot I'd return to. Easy parking too!!!
