I am very grateful for everything this firm has done for me, especially with David Kohlmeier, who was helping me with my case. David (who is a retired Henderson police officer) and the attorneys were very helpful, understanding, and easy to talk to. They made everything very clear and was very specific about what I needed to do.

Mr. Kohlmeier and the attorneys were always very attentive to my needs, answering my phone calls, text, and emails in a timely manner. They always kept me updated, and would let me know when everything was taken care of throughout the process.

To follow-up, the Defenders explained they would pay all the fees and charges due to the whole mishap, they ended up not paying the Court on time and the incurring charges ended up going to collections before the office fulfilled their promises. I sadly can't recommend their services due to my anecdotal experience.

The team here was extremely helpful and successful with my case. They were always in communication and sent a representative on behalf of myself. Whatever case you need amended or reduced, this is the business to trust. I definitely do not hope I will need to use their service again but if I ever do, the Defenders is the team to work with. I had a great experience with The Defenders. The paralegals are very knowledgeable and Lisa always kept in contact with me and provided updates.

Still no response from RYAN HEMLOCK or YADIRA. Can't even get one of these criminals to call back they leave it to there public relations person to handle. So If you're looking for personal touch it doesn't exist at the Defenders. The only thing they defend is how much they charge to eventually not show up and not let you know when you need to show up!

I had an incident that I needed some legal guidance on. I met with David Kohlmeier. While he himself is not an attorney, he is experienced LE and a Liason to the attorneys. He took ample time to review the case and gave insight and honest feedback. He didn't try to sell me on a package, or how the attorneys would handle the case. In fact, in my unique situation, he suggested I could handle it without representation. That's like a car salesman downselling you on a model! I actually had planned on that, but it was refreshing to hear it from someone in the business of helping people. I truly believe David has that passion. His demeanor is friendly yet professional, and genuine.
If you find yourself in the need of legal advice, I strongly suggest you speak with David first.

Would not recommend . I had my first DUI charge and everything seemed to be going well . When I have my consultation they inform me that the contract includes showing up to the DMV hearing for me . 3 years later after my case was closed I get my first ticket for speeding . The officer informs me my license was suspended . During the 2 years my case was opened no one bothered to inform me my license was suspended or at least notify me about how to get that issue resolved . Even a simple email saying " hey you can't be driving your license is suspendEd" or " hey these are the next steps" I would constantly call every few months to get an update from them on my case and no where was it mentioned that I had a suspended license. For the price you pay here and the lack of communication you get it's not worth it . I decided to trust this firm because a friend recommended them even after looking at similar firms that offered better pricing and services included . It was a simple fix on just going to the dmv and getting my license reinstated but I don't understand how hard it was to notify me of what was going on even after I would ask multiple times if there's anything I could do in my part to help my case . I even would call them multiple times after getting the ticket . They'd always tell me someone Would give me a call back No one ever got backed to me all they told me is to go to the dmv myself and basically figure it out . Seriously no one could tell me if they even showed up for my dmv hearing ? or explain to me why this wasn't brought up ? I could've faced charges for driving with a suspended license this whole time and not having a clue because I thought I could trust this firm .
